• It can prevent deformation of the cores since the leaf is clamped in a perfect circle. It is good for light weight work, has advantage of being able to be used in vacuum and high temperature environments.

• It can be used semi-permanently since it has no tubes.

• But break down might occur if used in harsh environments. The shaft needs to be sent back to the manufacturer for repair since it is hard to self-repair.

• If the operator had to adjust the position of the fabric while working, the existing air shaft had to remove air to reposition the fabric.

• YR-101D is designed to adjust the position of the fabric by thread while air clamping is maintained.

• Cantilever type only.

A differential shaft is essential for slit rewinding work.

Each cartridge slips with even torque adjustable by air pressure, which prevents rolls collapse / cutting during work.

Most differential shafts in the market generate this torque by friction between cartridges next to each other, by applying pressure from side.
