Air Shaft

It can prevent deformation of the cores since the leaf is clamped in a perfect circle. It is good for light weight work, has advantage of being able to be used in vacuum and high temperature environments.

It can be used semi-permanently since it has no tubes.

But break down might occur if used in harsh environments. The shaft needs to be sent back to the manufacturer for repair since it is hard to self-repair.
